ORHMA Toronto launches Toronto Restaurant Awards

The 2011 / 2012 ORHMA (Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association) Toronto Restaurant Awards will honour industry professionals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the Toronto Restaurant Industry. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception followed by an interactive culinary experience consisting of food and wine tasting stations hosted by some of the finest chefs and restaurants in the city. The highlight of the event will be the presentation of awards to establishments and industry professionals who have been nominated and recognized by their peers as well as the general public. In addition, the attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite tasting station of the night.

Tourism Toronto has partnered with ORHMA as the key sponsor partner of the event. Proceeds raised from this event will go to establishing an endowment fund for the students of The Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts at George Brown College.
