Airline Hotels president top woman entrepreneur

SASKATOON, SK—Employees at Saskatoon-based Airline Hotels and Resorts Ltd. are definitely proud that their president, Betty-Anne Latrace-Henderson, has been named by Profit Magazine as Canada’s top woman entrepreneur.  Latrace-Henderson was honoured for her role in growing the company, which owns and operates hotels from Edmonton to Thunder Bay.

Days Inns raise $200,000 to help fight childhood cancer

TORONTO—This September, all 90 Canadian Days Inns, which have an estimated 2,000-plus staff, participated in a campaign to combat childhood cancer. The hotels received paper gold ribbons to sell at the front desk for a minimum donation of $1. Signed ribbons were displayed behind the front desk.
