New chair Greg Lowe owns Coleville Hotel
SASKATOON—After a hard-fought campaign, Greg Lowe, owner of the Coleville Hotel, was elected as the new chairman of the SHHA at the association’s 2010 annual general meeting.
Born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and later raised on a farm in the west central part of the province, Lowe worked in the automotive and agricultural industries for 10 years prior to purchasing the Coleville Hotel in 1999.
In 2006, Lowe renovated and opened the Coleville store which serves the community with groceries, hardware and as a retail liquor outlet.
Lowe was first elected to the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Hotel & Hospitality Association in 2002, sitting on various committees over eight years.
He has two children, a daughter Danielle, attending the University of Saskatchewan, and a son, Ryan, who is in the oil and gas industry in Northern Alberta.
His pride and joy is Maverick, his grandson, who arrived just nine months ago.
