AHLA meets in Lake Louise
LAKE LOUISE, AB—A keynote address by a hotelier who faced the Rwanda genocide, one of the saddest chapters of our modern history, is one of the features of the Alberta Hotel and Lodging Association’s 89th Annual Convention & Trade Show which will be held April 5-7 in Lake Louise, Alberta.
Paul Rusesabagina, the hotel manager who held insanity at bay as he watched Rwanda dissolve into chaos during the 1994 genocide, is this year’s keynote speaker. His story was told in the critically acclaimed film Hotel Rwanda. Rusesabagina’s presentation is sponsored by HED Insurance & Risk Services.
The keynote address takes place at the Opening Breakfast, sponsored by Connect Logistics. Seating is limited to the first 300 delegates—be sure to register early to hear his amazing story!
School of Hard Rock
Gas Alberta Energy is pleased to bring back Jim Knight, senior director of training with Hard Rock Café’s School of Hard Rock, based on members’ requests. Knight will share best practices that will help operators create and maintain a strong company service culture during Culture that Rocks.
