CHICAGO-Champion Industries, manufacturer of a full line of premier commercial warewashing systems for over 100 years have announced their standing as Food Service Consultants Society (FCSI) recipient of the Americas Education Provider of the Year award for 2009 given at the 2010 FCSI Conference in Minneapolis in March. Champion was one of 37 FCSI Education Providers under consideration.
Each year, consultant members of FCSI attend educational sessions offered by Approved Education Providers and complete an evaluation of the program. The results of those surveys are then used by the FCSI Council for Professional Standards in determining the "Education Provider of the Year." Past recipients have included Wood Stone Corporation, Vulcan Hart, Halton, Enodis, Hatco Corporation, and Alto-Shaam.
