OAKVILLE, ON-The Quality Suites in Oakville is aptly named.
At a lunch held at the hotel on May 27, the team at the hotel won two quality awards, and found that excellence is sweet!
Tim Oldfield and Kevin Maven of Choice Hotels Canada head office were among a number of head office personnel on hand to present the hotel with their Choice Hotels Gold Award, which signifies that they are within the top 10 per cent of Choice's 280 Canadian hotels.
Maven read out some of the many favourable guest comments regarding the hotel. Here's a sample.
"This is THE BEST hotel team. I stay in hotels 200 nights a year and these guys are AWESOME! All team members recognize me by name, make me feel wanted and appreciate my business. Give everyone a pat on the back they earn it every day!!!!"
In addition to the Gold Award, the hotel was also presented with Expedia's Insider's Select Award for 2010, joining the ranks of hotels like the The Hazelton Hotel and the Park Hyatt Toronto on Expedia's list of the world's top properties, with a score of 88.8 out of 100.
