TORONTO—Verity Dimock joined Smart Serve Ontario as its executive director June 1. From a hospitality family, Dimock will combine her passion for hospitality and adult education to support the industry’s ongoing health. She brings skills in human resources, organizational leadership, partnership development, communications and marketing, and government relations.
Dimock was executive director of The Canadian Club of Toronto. She was also the first director of performance and employee learning with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. She is a founding board member of the Canadian Society for Training and Development, and a former chapter president of the International Society for Performance Improvement.
