A paler shade of green for Canadian hotels?
Will the economic downturn mean a paler shade of green? Given the state of the economy, should hoteliers move away from investing in greener alternatives for current renovations, opting instead for more traditional choices? HOK's Joe Pettipas suggests that on the contrary, in an economic downturn, investing in green practices and greener building materials will ultimately help reduce operating costs.
