Conservation awareness

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI — AwarenessIDEAS, a division of Flexi Display, has some simple, e-mailable moving gif file that provide easy energy conservation reminders. For example, the slowly water filling “pig” shown at left is the focal point of the message “There are a number of ways to save water and they all start with you.”

“We work with a lot of hotels, both chains and individual hotel managers,” says Marvin Weisenthal, company president.  “We are trying to create awareness among staff, so they don’t leave doors open, turn laundry lights off, make sure freezers are the right temperature and more.

The company also provides posters for conservation campaigns,  and decals suitable for  mounting on light switches or in hotel bathrooms.
